buiigo is free because it earns affiliate commissions. We don’t sell accommodation, commissions don’t change your price and have no influence on the order of results or on ratings.
How our links work
The booking buttons on listings (for example, “See availability and prices”) are affiliate links, and we say so next to them. When you click one, you pass through a buiigo address that redirects you to Stay22, our affiliate platform, and from there to a booking site.
If you book on that site, the booking site pays a commission to Stay22, which shares part of it with buiigo. The amount depends on each site and each booking.
These links carry the technical “sponsored” tag, which tells search engines that they are commercial links.
Our partners
We work with Stay22, an affiliate platform for travel websites. Through it, our links lead to booking sites such as:
- Booking.com
- Expedia
- Hotels.com
- Agoda
- Trip.com
- Vrbo
Stay22 decides which site opens in each case, based on availability and your location. The names and logos of these sites are trademarks of their owners: showing them does not mean that they sponsor or endorse buiigo.
Activities: GetYourGuide
On some listings, the “Things to do in…” section suggests tours and activities from GetYourGuide. These are affiliate links too: if you book an activity, GetYourGuide may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you.
GetYourGuide content only loads if you allow it, as explained in our cookie policy. Booking, payment and the conditions of each activity are up to GetYourGuide and the organiser.
What you pay
Nothing extra. The commission is paid by the booking site: it is not added to your price.
Independence
- No property or booking site pays to appear on buiigo or to rank higher.
- Results are ranked using objective criteria (we explain which), regardless of commissions.
- We don’t charge for ratings and we don’t change them.
Your booking
buiigo is not a party to the booking contract. The final price, payment, cancellations, changes and any complaint about the booking are handled with the booking site or the property, under their terms.

Your data when you click a link
When you click an affiliate link, we record the click anonymously (which listing, the page language, the approximate country and the time), without your IP address or any identifier, so we know which links are used.
Once you leave buiigo, Stay22 and the booking site process your data and use cookies under their own policies. There are more details in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
