Compliance status
buiigo has been designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, as set out in the European standard EN 301 549. We consider it partially compliant, because of the exceptions listed below.
What we do
- Level AA colour contrast for text and controls.
- Full keyboard navigation with a focus indicator that is always visible.
- Semantic structure: headings, regions, lists and labels for screen readers.
- Alternative text for images.
- 20 languages, with right-to-left text in Arabic.
- Responsive design that respects browser zoom.
- Lightweight pages whose main content can be read without JavaScript.
Known limitations
- Interactive maps are not fully accessible with a screen reader. The same information (areas, nearby places and distances) is available as a text list next to the map.
- Photos come from third parties: their alternative text is the property name.
- The booking sites we link to are outside our control and their accessibility may vary.
How we assessed it
This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out by the owner using automated tools (Lighthouse and axe) and manual keyboard navigation checks. Last reviewed: October 1, 2026.
